The National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) School for Primary Care Research is a partnership between nine leading academic centres for primary care research in England.
Established in 2006, we work to increase the evidence base for primary care practice through high quality research and strategic leadership, and to build capacity in primary care with a well established training programme.
Current Funding Opportunities
SPCR Public Involvement and Engagement Fund
The School for Primary Care Research (SPCR) has launched a funding call to provide researchers with funds to explore and develop new, or continue existing, relationships with those currently under-served by research or health and care in general. Open to researchers based in the NIHR SPCR member departments.
Applicants will be required to submit a video and an application form detailing their project. The deadline to apply is 13:00 on Thursday 2 May 2024.
SPCR PhD Studentships
The nine SPCR member universities are now recruiting for their 2024 PhD Studentships.

Dementia Research Doctoral Studentships
15 Doctoral Studentships focusing on dementia-related practice are now available.
