About the speaker

Catherine is Professor of Palliative Care at the International Observatory on End of Life Care at Lancaster University. A community nurse by background, she now has a focus on research, primarily exploring the ways that palliative care is provided. Catherine is also editor-in-chief of the journal Palliative Medicine and writes and reviews for a number of other journals.
