Masterclass: Value of research for patients and community nursing

This free 1-hour masterclass will focus on the value of research for patients and community nursing, open to all community nurses interested in research.

At the masterclass, Professor Alison Leary will discuss some of the research she has led with the QNI International Community Nursing Observatory (ICNO) and its impact, including key research into the experiences of care home staff during Covid-19. Alison will cover how community nurses can contribute or get involved in research: as participants, collaborating in research or being active users of evidence.

About the speaker

Alison Leary is a Professor of Healthcare and Workforce Modelling at London South Bank University and the Director of the International Community Nursing Observatory at the Queens Nursing Institute, where she researches the community nursing workforce, its workloads and impact.
