The NIHR School for Primary Care Research (SPCR) are pleased to launch two career development opportunities for undergraduate student - the Student Internship Programme and the George Lewith Prize.  

The Student Internship Programme provides students with experience in a research environment and access to a team of specialised mentors and supervisors. All internship projects are offered as virtual opportunities or in-person at the relevant university. The programme is open to all undergraduate students, from any degree based at a UK university.

The George Lewith Prize is an essay competition for UK medical students. The winner receives their registration fees for the Society for Academic Primary Care (SAPC) annual scientific conference, held this year from the 18-20 July 2023.
