The conference covered a broad range of themes from childhood injuries, diabetes to alcohol misuse, continuity of care and the experiences of older people who access emergency services. The SPCR funded study, led by Dr Carol Coupland, found that a statistically significant association could be found between all antidepressant drug classes and the risk of epilepsy/seizures. Co-researchers at the University of Nottingham's School of Medicine included Professor Richard Morriss, Professor Antony Arthur, Dr Michael Moore and Professor Julia Hippisley-Cox.
