SAPC is working in partnership with SPCR and RCGP to appoint two paid internships to support the SAPC-RCGP WISE GP programme.

The internships are offered to any SAPC member, both GP and primary health care scientists (PHOCUS members). Funding, supported by the NIHR School for Primary Care Research (SPCR),  is available for you to work for one day a week for 6 months on Phase Two of the WISE GP programme. This is a joint initiative between the RCGP and the Society for Academic Primary Care (SAPC) to champion the distinct clinical scholarship that lies at the heart of modern general practice.

Interns will be responsible for:

  • Extending the resource sets with the GEMS libraryWISE Learning and WISE Connections pages
  • Developing and delivering a series of targeted communications to raise awareness of and engagement with WISE GP and academic primary care resources
  • Identifying and extending the network of users for the programme from across student, clinical and academic communities
  • Reporting impact to SAPC, RCGP and SPCR

Closing date for applications is 10am on Monday 2nd November
