Biography

Laura joined the Centre of Evidence Based Dermatology in 2016. She completed her PhD in patient-reported outcome measures for atopic eczema in 2019. She has research experience in working with a range of dermatological conditions.

Laura is currently the UK Dermatology Clinical Trials (UK DCTN) Trials Development Manager (http://www.ukdctn.org/) and works on multiple research projects, including the Rapid Eczema Trials project (https://rapideczematrials.org/).

Laura studied Psychology (BSc) at the University of Sheffield, and then went on to study Health Psychology (MSc) at the University of Bath.

She is a qualified Health Psychologist. She is interested in improving the provision of psychological interventions for people with dermatological conditions and improving communication in healthcare.

Teaching Summary

Laura teaches on the MSc Health Psychology course (https://www.nottingham.ac.uk/pgstudy/course/taught/health-psychology-msc). She also supervises PhD students.
