Project Title:  Health inequalities at the end of life for people living with dementia from minority ethnic groups

Brief Summary:  The UK is home to many people who identify themselves as being from minority ethnic groups, and within England and Wales there are around 25,000 people living with dementia who are from minority ethnic communities. Research has found that there is lower uptake of care towards the end of life care for people living with dementia from minority ethnic groups. My aim is to investigate the inequalities in end of life care for people from minority ethnic groups with dementia, and explore ways to improve access and engagement with healthcare services.
