Particularly domestic violence and skin conditions; these topics are now mature research programmes within the University of Bristol’s CAPC funded by the NIHR HTA and PGfAR grants. These projects were facilitated by earlier grants received from the School to conduct the preliminary work.

An example is the piloting of the PATH trial of a psychological intervention for survivors of domestic violence which was the basis of the trial in the PROVIDE programme.  

Newcastle University’s global health bid was also made possible after receiving seed funding from the School.
