Biography

I am a PhD student at the University of Bristol funded by the NIHR School for Primary Care Research. My PhD research investigates the needs of abused migrant women within primary care and this work is supervised by Professor Gene Feder and Dr Ali Heawood.

Originally from Germany, I have a background in Psychology (BSc) and Public Health (MSc). Prior to commencing my PhD, I worked as a Research Associate at the University of Bristol. Previous other roles include working as a Research Assistant at the University of Bielefeld as well as working in the clinical and third sector (e.g. women’s counselling centre, HIV prevention).
