WELCOME TO THE 2019 NATIONAL PRIMARY CARE ACADEMIC CLINICAL FELLOW CONFERENCE,  HOSTED BY THE UNIVERSITY OF Manchester

The two day National Primary Care Conference is an annual conference for academic GP trainees, early career clinical researchers,  their supervisors, programme leads and the wider academic primary care community. The aim of the conference is to inform and inspire those in the early stages of a career in academic primary care.

We are developing an exciting programme, combining keynote talks from world-renowned leaders in the field along with workshops aimed at getting the most from your time as an early career medical researcher and beyond. These will include advice on funding, grants, writing for publication and more. The conference also provides the opportunity to present your own research to a supportive national forum and network with colleagues from across the United Kingdom. Prizes will be awarded to outstanding work in each field.

The University of Manchester is delighted to be hosting the 2019 conference. The venue will be Museum of Science and Industry, Manchester. Accommodation will be available in a central Manchester location.

If you are interested in attending please contact spcr_events@phc.ox.ac.uk to join our mailing list, providing your name, email and job title. This will help us in the planning stages and also allow us to keep you updated with further information on the conference, including call for papers and registration.
