Knowledge Mobilisation Research Fellowships (KMR Fellowships) are designed to support a balance of innovative knowledge mobilisation and research into the processes and impacts of such innovation. Through innovative practice and systematic study of that practice KMR Fellows should advance knowledge and understanding about research use, influence and impact.

Drs Lesley Wye (University of Bristol, awarded in 2015) and Sarah Knowles (University of Manchester, awarded in 2017) have written blogs about their expectations and experiences of getting research 'out there':

Confessions of a NIHR Knowledge Mobilisation Research Fellow

How can patients be involved in the implementation and improvement of research?

The next Round (Round 6) will launch in the week beginning 17 July 2017.

Please keep an eye on the NIHR website for more information about the application process.
