Interested in communicating the research you do? Then you may like to enter the New Media Competition which enables you to enthuse audiences about the research you are involved with.

The category for Round 6 is "Raising awareness of your research". We are looking for films that explain clearly why your research is important, what is actually being done and the impact that it may have or is having.

In addition, this year there will be a special prize for the film that shows how public involvement has been embedded into a research project and how it made a difference.

We want to see creative videos on the impact PPI has on your research and to demonstrate how PPI has helped change or shape this research.

The NIHR TCC have produced a short video with information that we hope you can refer to for creative ideas: https://youtu.be/9UcRnAWSyOg

Entrants must be a member of the NIHR Faculty, have recently completed research or be a patient/member of the public involved with NIHR research.

Entries must be no longer than 2 minutes.

The competition closes at midnight on 31 March 2016.
