The SPCR would like to congratulate members of the School, based in the Nuffield Department for Primary Care Health Sciences, following the 2014 Recognition of Distinction Awards and the Medical Sciences Division gathered field award at the University of Oxford.

The title of Professor has been conferred upon Anthony Harnden (GP with research focus on primary care paediatrics)  and Dan Lasserson (GP with research focus on stroke prevention and chronic kidney disease) is now Associate Professor after a Medical Sciences Division gathered field conferment of four senior researchers.
