Three NIHR Research Schools' Host Grant Writing Workshop to Support Researchers

The Three NIHR Research Schools' Mental Health Programme recently commissioned a grant writing workshop led by Professor Sue Ziebland, NIHR Senior Investigator Emeritus at the Nuffield Department of Primary Care Health Sciences, University of Oxford.

Titled "How to Ask for Money", the workshop provided early to mid-career researchers with valuable guidance on developing successful research funding applications. The event aimed to strengthen the skills of researchers by offering practical strategies for writing applications. Through dedicated funding 20 researchers were able to attend the session.

The initiative underscores the programme’s ongoing commitment to supporting the next generation of mental health researchers and foster a robust research environment across the UK.
