The NIHR Research Training Camp for doctoral students in the NIHR Infrastructure will take place from 12 - 14 July 2017 at Weetwood Hall in Leeds. 

Registration for the training camp is only open to delegates nominated by Biomedical Research Centres and Units, Collaborations for Leadership in Applied Health Research and Care, Patient Safety Translational Research Centres and School of Primary Care Research.  Two places are available for School trainees.

SPCR trainees who would like more information are asked to contact Georgina Fletcher.

Trainees selected to attend in 2013 were Derek Kyte (Birmingham) and Abi Eccles (Oxford).

In 2014 Kieran Ayling (Nottingham) and Priyanka Chandratre (Keele) wrote about the meeting in "Attracting Health Research Funding".

In 2015 Edmore Chamapiwa (Manchester) wrote about it in "The art of communicating your science".

In 2016 Jane Vennik (Southampton) and Trishna Rathod (Keele) attended and Jane wrote a blog "Learning about successful grant applications".
