The School for Primary Care Research has a track record of supporting patient and public involvement and public engagement. Early 2018, two overviews were published showing best practices of involvement and engagement and their impact on research supported by the School.

•    School for Primary Care Research: Public Involvement Case Studies (April 2018)
•    School for Primary Care Research: Public Engagement Case Studies (April 2018)

The School also collaborated with various partners in compiling a case study booklet of examples where patient and public involvement has made a positive impact on research in primary care. Eleven case studies were provided, showing a rich diversity of how patients and carers have been involved in the development of a range of research studies.

•    Patient and Public Involvement: Case Studies in Primary Care Research (March 2015)
