Join our Public Steering Group
We are looking for members of the public to join the School for Primary Care Research's Public Steering Group.
Up to 18 members of the public will be recruited as part of the Steering Group team to:
- review the current ways we work with the public
- shape and influence how we work the public going forward
- monitor and evaluate the School’s strategy for how we aim to work with the public
- advise on ways to make the School’s events and communications more accessible and inclusive
We want our steering group to bring together a mix of individuals. We are therefore looking for members from a wide range of backgrounds with a variety of experiences to be involved.
The role will be for approximately 2 years from late April 2024 and you will be invited to attend 2 x meetings each year (up to 2hrs). Meetings will be online in the first instance, and if preferred by group members a face-to-face/hybrid meeting will be held once each year. Timings of meetings will be flexible and can be held outside of working hours is preferred by group members.
