Application Information PhD Programme for Primary Care Clinicians
Applications for the 2026 programme are welcomed from clinicians of all disciplines working in UK primary care, for example: practice nurses; health visitors; dentists, primary care pharmacists; optometrists working in primary care and general practitioners (NB this list is not exhaustive).
Due to the wide variety of supervisors available across the member institutions, there are various PhD topics available available across consortium members. Students must discuss their proposed studies with their proposed supervisors and must have agreement from their proposed primary supervisor upon submission of their application.
Please see our short guide to using the GoodGrants programme to assist with your application.
For more information on the programme, see the FAQ page or watch back our Webinar.
Queries should be directed to spcr@keele.ac.uk - we aim to reply within 3 working days.
