The Essential Guide to Grant Applications (EGGA) masterclass is for anyone thinking of applying for research funding – either from the National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) or from other open, competitive, peer reviewed sources of funding. This masterclass focuses on how to write an application that will appeal to a funding panel.
If you have an idea for a health (including public health) or social care research proposal and would like to turn your idea into a funding application, EGGA will introduce you to the skills you need to get started.
EGGA is a free to attend, three-day masterclass on how to write a funding application that is strong from a methodological point of view, reads well and presents a convincing case for funding. EGGA is hosted by the NIHR Research Support Service hub delivered by the University of Southampton & Partners
