More information about the Speaker: 

Jonathan Hammond is Senior Lecturer in Health Policy and Organisation at The University of Manchester. He is part of the HOPE (Health Organisation, Policy & Economics) research group, a member of the Policy Research Unit for Health and Social Care Systems and Commissioning, and course unit lead for Introduction to Health Policy on the Master of Public Health programme. A key part of his research work involves engaging with policy makers and stakeholders, particularly in the Department of Health and Social Care. He has experience crafting accessible policy communications to a range of audiences and has delivered evidence to Select Committee Enquiries and verbal evidence on research findings to members of the House of Commons and House of Lords.
