NIHR School for Public Health Research Public Mental Health (PMH) Programme Symposium
Join us for a virtual symposium showcasing the latest research conducted within the NIHR School for Public Health Research Public Mental Health (PMH) Programme on 7 October 2025 from 10am to 4pm.
This year’s event will focus on sharing research findings from ongoing PMH projects with policy makers, public health practitioners, community organisations and the public. We aim to ensure that learning from our research can be directly translated into practice and used by people and communities.
During the symposium, you will:
  • hear updates on the latest research from the PMH programme
  • comment and give feedback on research findings
  • contribute to interactive discussions about ways of ensuring research learning is translated to everyday public health practice and life.
Audience
This event is free to attend and open to anyone interested in public mental health. We welcome researchers, policy makers, public health practitioners, members of the public, and staff and volunteers from community organisations.
Speakers
The symposium will be co-facilitated by academic researchers and peer researchers who have worked together on the research being undertaken within the PMH Programme. Further details on individual speakers will be made available prior to the event.
