NIHR Three Research Schools Prevention Research Programme Showcase

Wednesday 5 February 2026, from 09:30–16:30 at The Catalyst, 3 Science Square, Newcastle Helix, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE4 5TG. 

Hosted by the School for Public Health Research (SPHR) this event will bring together researchers, practitioners and partners from across the Three Schools Prevention Research Programme. Attendees will have the opportunity to hear about progress to date, explore key achievements, and discover the breadth and impact of prevention research being carried out across the programme. The day will include dedicated time for networking and poster viewing. 

To ensure broad representation, SPHR ask that each funded award is represented by at least one attendee, where possible. Award holders are also invited to submit a short abstract as part of their event registration, for consideration for a lightning talk or poster presentation. Applicants selected to present will be notified by the end of December.
