Research Masterclass: Introduction to quantitative data analysis, 14 June, 2023

The QNI’s Community Nursing Research Forum's next webinar is taking place on Wednesday 14th June, 1pm - 2.15pm. The title is Introduction to quantitative data analysis with Anthony Manning-Stanley

At the masterclass, speaker Anthony Manning-Stanley will introduce and discuss the main concepts related to working with numerical data in research projects. Starting with an exploration of some basic definitions of data types and how we treat these in order to produce various descriptive statistics, the discussion will then move on to consider the inferential statistical tests that can be conducted in order to reach conclusions related to statistical significance. Towards the end of the session we will consider a brief case-study to demonstrate working with quantitative data in action, with a walk through of the various stages and decisions in the data analysis process.
