Venue

We are delighted that the University of Exeter we be hosting this year's Trainees Event. Our event will be held in the Peter Chalk Building on Streatham campus. The Peter Chalk Centre is a multi purpose conference venue, situated adjacent to the suite of Newman lecture theatres.

Please join us for registration and refreshments at the start of each day in the main atrium. Plenary sessions will be held in the lecture theatre and parallel sessions will be held across breakout spaces - your lanyard will include further information.

OVERNIGHT STAY: LEONARDO HOTEL EXETER 

The majority of delegates are staying at the Leonardo Hotel, Exeter. The hotel is approx. 23 mins walk from the Peter Chalk Centre. Please refer to email communication for hotel booking details if you are a Three Schools Mental Health or Wellcome PhD award holder.

Check- in is available from 3pm, with check- out by 12pm on Thursday 14th September. The SPCR Directorate team will be working with the hotel staff to help to facilitate a smooth check in process.

Leonardo Hotel Exeter features an all day Costa Coffee bar and a stylish onsite bar to relax in after an eventful day in the city. You can enjoy a great selection of seasonal food and drink in the restaurant which is open from 6:30am to 10:00am for breakfast.

Please note that parking directly outside the hotel is NOT included in your booking and is charged for by the hotel.  Car parking is available at the Summerland Gate Car Park, Belgrave Road, EX1 2LB. The car park is situated directly opposite the main entrance of the hotel with the entrance of the car park on Belgrave Road.

Guests at Leonardo Hotel Exeter can benefit from a reduced rate of £10.00 per 24 hours parking. This must be paid for upon departure from the hotel. The car park is Fully secure with 35 CCTV camera and features 239 spaces including 15 disabled bays. Open between 07:00 - 02:00.

Car parking is also available at the Triangle car park which is a pay and display council car park.

EVENING MEAL: MERCURE EXETER SOUTHGATE HOTEL

Our evening meal on Wednesday 13th September will be served at the Mercure Exeter Southgate Hotel, a contemporary 4-star hotel and supremely located in the heart of Exeter.

This venue is approx 13 min walk from the Leonardo hotel. Please arrive at 7pm for a 7.30pm service.
