The School for Social Care Research (SSCR) has opened applications for the NIHR Three Schools’ Dementia Research Programme Post-Doctoral Fellowship Scheme, which supports early post-doctoral researchers to develop independent careers in dementia research.
The scheme is open to researchers within three years of completing their PhD (or awaiting viva) and requires applicants to be hosted by a Three Schools’ Member Institution (SPHR, SPCR or SSCR) with an appropriate supervisory team.

Potential applicants can register their interest in the scheme if they'd like to receive important updates and reminders during the application process.
The application deadline is 5:00pm, Friday 1 May 2026.
