The event brought together Mental Health Programme award holders, past and present and researchers from the Three NIHR Research Schools' Mental Health Programme to share learning and showcase innovative mental health research.
The day opened with a welcome from School for Primary Care Research director Christian Mallen and featured a series of oral and poster presentations covering topics such as suicide prevention, maternal mental health, young people’s wellbeing and community-led approaches to tackling mental health inequalities.
A keynote on research impact delivered by Natalie Owen (slides below), highlighted the importance of ensuring research makes a meaningful difference to people and communities.
