"NAPCRG is a multidisciplinary organisation for primary care researchers and this year’s conference was held in Ottawa, Canada. For me, the conference was a great opportunity to get my research out to an international audience as well developing links with primary care researchers working in similar research areas to my own. The conference attracted delegates from a number of countries giving the meeting a distinctly international flavour.
This was particularly evident in the oral/poster sessions, where the contrast in the way healthcare systems from different countries are organised was striking. This definitely gave me a new perspective on my own research and how it might better disseminated for researchers across the world. The conference as a whole was very engaging, particularly the poster sessions which were very well attended and stimulated lots of discussion and debate. Our Canadian hosts were extremely welcoming and I would recommend this conference to anyone considering attending in the future."
